T. K. Wong is a Senior Training Consultant in the areas of sales leadership and coaching, sales strategy, negotiation, consultative selling skills, and presentation skills. Initially trained as a CPA, TK worked for KPMG, following which he moved into Banking and worked in a variety of financial sectors - Retail, Cards, Securities and Corporate Banking in. Before he joined the training profession, he had held management positions such as Head, Quality Assurance, Group Operations Controller, and Regional Senior Project Manager. He has ample people management experience in driving the force locally and regionally to meet various business objectives. Organisations he has worked for include Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, First Pacific Bank, and Credit Lyonnais.
TK is also an expert in process re-engineering and a coach in change management, including having experience of supporting the integration of banking cultures post acquisition in Thailand, leading the hubbing of operations in Taiwan and centralization of loan processing in PRC. Further, he also participated various personal development programs by serving as a coach to support and encourage the participants in their leadership transformation. Currently, he is a regular coach for 2 senior executives of a Jewelry Company and a Health Product Company respectively. TK has an MBA, speaks Cantonese and Mandarin, and has experience of working and delivering training in a number of Asian countries including Hong Kong, PRC, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines. Further, he is also a qualified Adventure Trainer and loves outdoors.
